1. Nationality
Applicant must be:

- A permanent resident of Assam
(Except SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates who are exempt from submitting residence proof initially.)

Candidate must speak Assamese or any other recognized State language.

Candidate must have their name registered in a local Employment Exchange of Assam.
