The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the CTET Notification 2026 for the February Session on its official website. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted on 8th February 2026 across 132 cities in 20 languages.
Candidates who aspire to become teachers in government or private schools must qualify for CTET. Eligible candidates can apply online from 27th November 2025 to 18th December 2025.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria for CTET 2026
1️⃣ Primary Level (Class I–V)
Candidates must have any one of the following:
- 12th with 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed
- 12th with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed
- 12th with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Special Education
- Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed
2️⃣ Secondary Level (Class VI–VIII)
Candidates must have any one:
- 12th with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed
- Graduation with 50% marks + 1-year B.Ed
- 12th with 50% + B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
- Graduation with 50% + B.Ed (Special Education)
Candidates pursuing NCTE/RCI-recognized teacher education programs are also eligible.
